CEM Featured on LHN Game Changers

CEM would like to thank UT's Longhorn Network (LHN) for featuring us in their program, Game Changers, where they highlighted an exciting project at the Center for Electromechanics.

CEM is partnered with several great companies and organizations on this effort. The Center for Transportation and the Environment (CTE) helped pull together a great team and is providing overall project management and reporting to our sponsors. Unique Electric Solutions (UES) is the team's electric vehicle up fitter looking to commercialize this technology. Hydrogenics and Valence Technologies are key component suppliers responsible for the fuel cell system and battery energy storage system, respectively. United Parcel Service (UPS) has also been a very supportive partner and will deploy and operate the zero emission fuel cell package delivery vans at multiple locations within California.

Funding for this research, development, and deployment project is provided by the US Department of Energy, the California Energy Commission, and the South Coast Air Quality Management District.
